Barclays Credit Card Reviews
Barclays have a presence on most of the main customer review sites and there are a significant number of reviews on them. The reviews overall are predominantly critical with negative feedback from reviewers. It needs to be factored in that the reviews are about all of Barclays products across their personal and business portfolios and that they may not reflect service provided by business credit cards.
The largest number of reviews is on Trustpilot where reviewers have rated Barclays mostly as bad (85%). The reviewers’ comments include issues with wait times both in branch and on the phones which impact the customer service levels, and problems using internet banking. Some business customers complained about slow loan approval times and issues with account setup. During the period of some of these reviews, the Coronavirus pandemic occur and cause increase volumes of applicants for banks which will have had an effect, but older reviews also mentioned similar issues.

A customer service poll on banks by Which? scores Barclays at 65% and aspects of customer service were scored out of 5.
